The 2022 UniSA Australian Human Powered Vehicle Super Series (AHPVSS) will get the green light at Mount Gambier on Saturday 26 March 2022.
“It’s very exciting to be able to make the first 2022 Series calendar announcement with Mount Gambier again hosting the season opener,” exclaimed CEO Marcus Lacey. “Mount Gambier’s McNamara Park has been the stage for Round 1 many times before, and I’m sure it will be welcomed again after such a difficult and challenging period of on/off events. We simply want to go racing!”
Located just 20 minutes outside Mt Gambier, the McNamara Park motor cycle racing circuit has much to offer. The twisting 2.4 km circuit provides something for everyone with fast straights, sweeping bends and technical downhill and uphill sections, and is an ideal venue for the event.
In preparation for the Saturday March 26 race at the track, vehicle scrutineering will take place at Mount Gambier Railway Lands Reserve in the CBD of Mount Gambier on Friday March 25. This will be the first opportunity to see the new season machines race ready.
Round 1 of the 2022 Uni SA AHPVSS in Mt Gambier is presented thanks to the generous support and cooperation of the City of Mount Gambier, and the Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club.
