More fast and furious racing is expected at Adelaide’s Victoria Park for Round 4 of the 2019 Uni SA Australian HPV Super Series on the weekend of 27-28 July.

Round 4 of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series gets under way this weekend at Victoria Park. Two full days of action at the longstanding circuit, will see the sport’s best in Australia fight it out in the heart of the state’s capital.

Racers will take to the long circuit on Saturday to get the green light at 10:00am when the Open teams battle it out over 6 hours. On Sunday the School teams hit the track on the long circuit for another big 6 hour event, from 10:00am as well.

“Victoria Park has always provided the Series with a quality track ideally suited to Human Powered Vehicle racing” said AIPP Inc. Chairman Andrew McLachlan. “For years the city parkland track has seen two rounds of the Series here, and 2019 is no exception. We have a fully subscribed entry list across both the Saturday and Sunday events, with thousands of competitors and spectators expected to enjoy the action” he added.

Heading into Round 4 Wattle Racing Ironbark holds the narrowest of leads in the Series with just a solitary point separating it from 2nd place Team Relentless Trump Trikes, 300 to 299, in the Open category (C7). The next three back are Unhinged UnhingedTeam Relentless Trump Elite and Blueshift Darleen.

In the Senior School category, the margin is identical, with St Peters College Vector having the edge over Norwood Morialta High School Focus. The top five is rounded out by Mount Barker High School Barking Mad TooGlenunga International High School Glenunga Blue, and Concordia College Harmony.

Series points are calculated by taking the best two round results plus the result from Round 6, the Australian International Pedal Prix at Murray Bridge on September 21-22.
